A moment a go I was installing SharePoint 2010 for the first time at home in my Hyper-V environment. Atleased for the first time on my brand new SQL 2011 CPT3 Delani failover cluster (wow that sounded interesting). Anyways after installing my installation crashed at stage 3 of the SharePoint Product Configuration Wizard while it tried creating the SharePoint_Farm_Config database.
Some weird error as shown here below. It turned out that some kind of stored procedure “sp_dboption” is depracated in the new SQL edition which is great by the way. But never the less I solved it just to extract SP1 for SharePoint and slipstream it in the updates folder.
After this everything went smoothly.
